How to Build a 60V High-Power Electric Cycle: Monotos Creative Guide

Are you tired of slow electric bikes? For my latest project, I decided to go big. I’m building a 60V high-power electric cycle that can handle any terrain.

Many of you in Bangladesh and Pakistan have asked for the exact parts list so you can convert your own bicycle. Below is the breakdown of the high-performance components I used.

1. The Engine: 60V 1200W-1500W BLDC Motor

This is not a toy. This motor is designed for high speed and heavy-duty performance. If you want your cycle to feel like a motorbike, this is the one.

2. The Front End: Double Crown Suspension Fork

To handle the high speed, you need a strong front fork. I used a double-crown suspension which gives the bike a "Downhill" aggressive look and absorbs every bump on the road.

3. Safety First: High-Performance Disc Brakes

When you are going 40-50 km/h on a cycle, standard rim brakes will not work. I installed 160mm disc brakes on both wheels to ensure instant stopping power.

4. The Brain: 60V Brushless Controller

To get the most out of the 1500W motor, you need a smart controller. This one is rated for 60V and ensures the battery power is delivered smoothly to the motor.
